PUBLIC NOTICE

 

The Budget Committees of the City of John Day and the John Day Urban Renewal Agency, County of Grant, State of Oregon, will meet to discuss the budgets for fiscal year July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 on May 12, 2025 and May 27th at 5:30 pm. at the John Day Firehall at 316 S Canyon Blvd, John Day, Oregon.  The purpose of the meetings is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.  These are public meetings where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place and where the Committee will make a recommendation to City Council for adoption.  A copy of the budget document may be obtained on or after May 12, 2025 by contacting City Hall at 541-575-0028 or cityofjohnday@grantcounty-or.gov.  Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs of with the Budget Committee.
