Water and Sewer Service
THE CITY OF JOHN DAY PROVIDES WATER AND WASTEWATER SERVICES TO RESIDENTS INSIDE CITY LIMITS AND SOME SURROUNDING AREAS.
Water Meters are read monthly, billing is completed at the end of each month, and balances are due by the 15th of each month.
To set up these services:
Fill out an application and submit it to the utility billing clerk via email, mail, or fax.

Provide a Deposit (base rate x 2) or a Letter of Credit from utility company (showing good payment history for previous 12 months).
Deposits must be made by check or cash to the City of John Day.
Please contact us at City Hall with any changes or concerns regarding your water/sewer services.
PAYMENTS can be made by mail, in person, or after hours in the Payment Drop Box at City Hall.
