SEE THE ATTACHED DAVIS CREEK TRAIL REVISIONS DATED 5-21-19 FOR LAYOUT, TRAIL TREAD AND TRAIL WIDTH. The Creekside Trail will become the main trail and will no longer be optional. We have removed a portion of the Canyon Trail. The layouts have been modified some to improve trail grade and flow. All modifications have been flagged. A revised RFQ has been posted.
The City of John Day is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide construction services for and on behalf of City as described in the enclosed Request for Quotes (RFQ's).
The City has created three RFQ's for this project. Contractors may bid on a single RFQ or bid on all.
A work session for interested contractors was held on Thursday, May 16 at 12:00 p.m. in the John Day Fire Hall, 316 S. Canyon Boulevard, John Day, OR. Participation was not a pre-requisite for submitting a bid.
Persons or parties interested in bidding on the subject improvements may appear in person at the meeting or may submit written questions to City Hall on or before the date of the meeting. Any questions regarding the meeting will be posted to the city website following the work session. Questions or comments should be directed to the City Manager: at 450 E. Main Street, John Day; via phone (541) 575-0028, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; or by email to cityofjohnday@grantcounty-or.gov.
To be considered, please submit your proposal to Nick Green, City Manager, via email at greenn@grantcounty-or.gov, or by mail or hand delivery to City of John Day, 450 East Main Street, John Day, Oregon 97845.
Proposals must be received by City on or before Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., Pacific Time. Proposals received after the deadline date/time will not be considered.
